Hi there Andrea, Kerryn, and Theon
First I want to thank you all for what you did for us with this trip. About five years ago we took on the care of my parents, and haven't been able to go anywhere as they aren't in good shape. With the help of friends taking on the care, and you all for the win of the trip, we were able to recharge our batteries. What a difference in our attitudes with the day to day grind.
San Francisco, what else can I say, but it stole my heart. We arrived at the hotel, what a beautiful place! The staff were nothing short of friendly, and wonderful to us.
Alcatraz, wow what a piece of history. It is almost as if you can feel the whole experience of being there through the audio tour. Even our son enjoyed it.
The city tour, this was something we though we really didn't want to do, but turned out a must do. We learned so much about the cities history, got to go up to Twin Peaks, and the ever famous Golden Gate Bridge. A must for anyone going to San Francisco for a short trip.
Dinner at Bacar, trendy and pretentious. The food was wonderful, but the staff seemed to look at us with our children, and wonder why we chose to go there. I think our server thought we would stiff her on the gratuity with our check being picked up for us. We took very good care of her, and she actually got friendly after that. The restaurant manager took the time to welcome us, and introduce himself which was a nice touch.
Dinner at Farallon, totally wonderful. Apart from thinking that our server should have explained the menu a bit better, the food was absolutely to die for, and the service top of the line. We ate the filet mignon, and it came with probably about fifty different tastes to it. Every bite was a mouth watering temptation with a different flavor.
Lunch at McCormick & Kuleto's, my favorite part. I wanted to eat crab and lobster at Fisherman's Wharf, and was not in the least bit disappointed. A must do for anyone liking fresh seafood.
Over all the trip was absolutely fantastic. I can't really begin to explain how much Bren and I needed to reconnect with each other, and our children as a family of four instead of six.
Andrea your planning was over the top. You did a tremendous job with every detail. You were there for us at every turn, and really did show us the absolute best VIP treatment anyone could ever ask for. Thank you so very much for all of your hard work, and perfect planning.
We really are truly greatful to all of you for all you did for us, and Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough, but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!
Last but not by any means least we want to thank Vivien for her dedication to her VIP players even after she is no longer with you. With out her contacting us, we never would have even known we won our trip.
