World Poker Tour Season XIV premieres on Fox Sports Networks February 28
The World Poker Tour (WPT) season XIV has begun and we can't wait to see all the action! Catch all the action packed world of poker when the full episodes air on February 28 on Fox Sports Networks. The World Poker Tour will include coverage of the 14th season, which will start with 3 episodes from the opening ceremony of the World Poker Tour Choctaw in Durant, Oklahoma.
Fox Sports will air 27 Season XIV episodes which will be broadcasted from now until August 28 including the future WPT Tournament of Championships. Mandy Glogow, WPT Supervising Producer said that they're thrilled to continue to tell the story of the World Poker Tour in Season XIV as it highlights the compelling storylines of both recreational and professional players as they compete on the most dramatic stage in poker. Glogow also added that viewers will be introduced to new and exciting players throughout the season, welcome back some of their favorite players from years past, and celebrate poker achievement in the historic WPT Tournament of Champions.
Viewers can look forward to seeing WPT co-commentators, Vince Van Patten and Mike Sexton with Lynn Gilmartin being the anchor for the show. Another favorite to look out for is a WPT Champions Club member and 2016 Aussie Millions runner-up, Tony Dunst who will continue to host the much loved segment, Raw Deal presented by Skrill.
WPT President and CEO, Adam Pliska said that thanks to the award-winning production team, the World Poker Tour programming continues to evolve and improve during Season XIV. Pliska also added that viewers have responded very positively to changes in recent seasons, resulting in top ranking on Fox Sports Networks and they will continue to enhance their show to deliver the best in gaming entertainment.
